Schultze vem ao Brasil por quatro meses como parte da estratégia da cervejaria de ampliar seu portfolio de cervejas e manter sólidos vínculos com a escola cervejeira alemã. “Somos fieis à tradição alemã de fazer cerveja e por isso, investimos na vinda de Schultze” diz Herbert Schumacher, sócio-proprietário da cervejaria. Vale lembrar que desde 2006, a Abadessa já possui parceria técnica com a Cervejaria Kronebrauerei (www.krone-tettnang.de), quando seu mestre-cervejeiro Fritz Tauscher veio ao Brasil por quatro meses.
Fritz também é formado em Weihenstephan e foi laureado com o GEA-Preis daquele ano. Benjamin Schultze ficará até o final de fevereiro na Cervejaria Abadessa aprimorando processos, desenvolvendo novos produtos e treinando os funcionários nos processos de assepsia, produção e manutenção.
